Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.
Trying to find an answer on how to live is annoyingly unsatisfactory. No matter what answer seems to offer a sense of completion for some period of time, it eventually fades away, and the change somehow feels easier to navigate than it did before. Clinging on to the past or worrying about the future probably contributes to that sense of unsatisfactoriness with the truth of reality. Being in the present, aware of the perceptions colored by what has happened previously, and yet… Coming back to the prompt, that first sentence was what first came to mind, and everything after is like a neverending chain of correlated thoughts. It probably would have been best to just let the first thing be.
